Lindsay Blackett

Chief Executive Officer

Lindsay Blackett is a highly sought after business development, consultant and speaker in the cannabis industry who leverages his expertise to help companies across the country to start, grow or expand their business. He has spoken at over 55 events from Cannabiscon and Okanagan Cannabis Symposium to Google Start-Up Grind on diverse topics from cannabis and workplace safety to regulatory affairs. He is also a frequent national radio and television commentator on the cannabis industry. As a partner in Arete Cannabis Consulting Inc., a boutique consulting firm, he assists clients with building their cannabis businesses including business plans, Health Canada applications, municipal permits and project management. He is also past President and founding Director of the Canadian Cannabis Chamber, an aggregator of cannabis businesses.

In addition to this leading role in the cannabis industry, Lindsay has a wealth of regulatory public sector experience that includes being a Member of the Alberta Legislature and The Minister of Culture and Community Spirit and two years working in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada (Brian Mulroney). He was also V.P. Business Development of Ncite Neuromedia and CEO of Chiniki First Nations. These experiences have given him deep insights into how industry, communities and governments interact and on how to position the cannabis industry for long-term, sustainable profitability.

This leadership and expertise, along with 15 years of supply chain management, has positioned Lindsay to visualize, build and manage GLTC with a focus on craft cannabis and premium brands to be distributed within Canada and exported worldwide.

Carla Campbell

Vice President, Business Development and International Relations

As Vice President of Business Development and International Relations, Carla Campbell brings over 25 years of experience building successful organizations with a focus on strategy and corporate development.  Carla has a strong record of accomplishment in growing companies and industry through strategic investment attraction, business development, international partnerships, strategic turnarounds and global expansion.

Carla was most recently with Invest Alberta, where she led investment attraction lead generation and deal-flow for the Americas and Asia Pacific, managing an opportunity portfolio worth several billion dollars. She has experience in both executive and leadership roles with private, non-profit and public sector organizations including the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, Calgary Economic Development, the Petroleum HR Council as well as President of her own successful marketing and business development consulting company for over a decade.

For the past several years, Carla delved deeply into the sectors of life sciences and cannabis and worked with Alberta, Canadian and international companies to attract investment and grow internationally. She leverages her cannabis and pharmaceutical industry knowledge of domestic and global strategic market and product opportunities to successfully grow PeakTerra Ventures. Carla has studied and lived in the United States and Canada. She holds both a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Athabasca University.

Blair Mullin

Senior Financial Advisor

In addition to his role with GLTC, Blair Mullin currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Redwood Green Crop, an OTC-listed holding company in the cannabis space. He is also Managing Director of Somerset Associates LLC, a CFO, accounting, tax and financial
consulting company. In addition, Blair serves on the board of CanaQuest Medical Corp. Since 2009, he has operated primarily in consulting and interim CFO roles with public and private companies in a wide variety of industries in numerous capacities, including turnarounds, startups,
capital-raising, administration, governance, clean-up, infrastructure, business planning and accounting.

From 2003 to 2009, Blair was a partner of Tatum Partners, a human capital firm engaged in providing CFO services. During that time, he served in leadership roles as Chief Financial Officer of Zi Corporation, Interim CFO of Homax Products, Vice President Finance of Yakima Products, as
well as several consulting engagements in industrial construction, manufacturing and air transportation. From 2001-2003, Blair served as turnaround consultant to companies in the telecom sector during the critical post-9/11 timeframe. From 1995-2001, he was engaged in various C-level capacities in a public entity that was restructured and eventually became
International Display Works, a manufacturer of LCD displays based in Rocklin, California with operations in Shenzhen, China (later sold to Flextronics).

Blair began his career in banking in 1982 ager completing his MBA from University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. Blair currently resides in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

Robert Nygren

Venture Capital and Real Estate Advisor

Robert Nygren has extensive experience in the technology and real estate sectors in North America and China. In addition to his role as Commercial Real Estate Advisor with GLTC, Robert is currently developing the six-acre ETC3 Tech Park on the University of British Columbia research campus. This development includes the BRIC Labs Cannabis Research Centre. In his previous role as CEO of publicly-traded Epic Data Intl and its spin-off Epic Fusion, Robert ran a manufacturing operations software company with operations in Canada, US, UK and China. He was also involved in the development of the ETC3 Tech Park near Beijing.

Robert’s prior positions include CEO of Fincentric Corp., the largest provider of core banking systems in Canada, and VP Business Development of VOCI Corp., a developer of speech recognition systems in California.

Robert obtained his BA and LLB degrees from the University of Western Ontario and has practised law in Ontario, British Columbia and California.

Hadi Feltham

FACILITIES ADVISOR

As the founder of SQFT Grow Systems, Hadi Feltham has dedicated his career to providing cannabis industry clients with full spectrum service based on the understanding that each opera?on requires uniquely specialized services, from the grower to the engineers and construc?on. He has seen first hand how the lack of effec?ve communica?on can cause very costly challenges within projects and has spent many years helping companies spend efficiently for long term growth and success.

Hadi’s background includes 25 yrs of grow, construc?on, business management and sales training for companies such as Rogers (Chatr) and Apple Inc. With more than 20 yrs of public speaking experience in business, financial, tech and the cannabis industry, he can knowledgeably speak to all required services. He can also provide guidance on decisions from licensing and real estate to distribu?on, ensuring that companies and their teams are execu?ng efficiently with the singular goal of growing quality, affordable, healthy product. In addi?on, Hadi has served 4 yrs on the Crossfield Town Council where he is responsible for many sustainability solu?ons as well as a large community garden for local residence to promote healthy living.
